HoneyRun and Honeywell PTFA
HoneyRun is a walk/run/scoot/cycle team effort fundraiser organised by the Honeywell Junior School's Year 5 volunteers together with the PTFA.
Honeywell tradition The HoneyRun is back and this year with both virtual and physical events!
Honeywell's big focus is on our children's physical and mental health. On the sprit of wellbeing and the great work Ms Zorab does in Honeywell, we want to invite You all to take part in
HoneyRun 2023 during the period of 1st-13th of May!
The fundraiser ends with a fantastic FunRun event on
Wandsworth Common (by Bellevue Road)
13th of May 3-5pm.
Our fundraiser is welcoming the whole school to get involved.
We are hoping for many of our Honeywell families to ramp up exercise levels and log the kilometres they complete.
Walking, running, scooting, cycling, even churning the kilometres out on your Peloton bike between conference calls.
All efforts and distances, from children and parents/carers are welcome in support of the Honeywell team effort.
The aim is for each year group to add together the kilometres we cover and see how far we can go. Balham, Bournemouth, Bordeaux, Botswana....
HoneyRun is held from 1st to 13th of May 2023 with physical FunRun event on the 13th of May on Wandsworth Common
(by Bellevue Road) 3-5pm.
The Honeywell Schools PTFA is a volunteer organisation, based in London, dedicated to the Honeywell Infant and Juniors schools’ rich and diverse community, to the wellbeing of our children and, of course, to their education and pastoral care.
The PTFA organises both fundraising events and enjoyable social functions for both parents and children.
We are very enthusiastic about our efforts and keen to help the Schools offer the ‘added extras’. In the past few year these 'added extras' have been things such as renovating the playground so that children can do as much sport as possible, or contributing towards IT resources so that the children leave Primary school with basic knowledge which we know is not always accessible to all but which we realise will be essential to this next generation. To this end, we work in close conjunction with head teachers of both the Infant and Junior schools.
Honeywell Schools PTFA is a registered Charity number: 1087950

Little note from the HoneyRun Y5 Volunteers -
We really appreciate your support in making this fundraiser happen. As always, there is no pressure to participate or contribute. We appreciate that now more than ever each family is facing individual challenges - we do feel we’d like to do what we can to support our school and community we know and love.
We would be delighted if you and your family would like to take part.
